Despite Eric then changing his data to E from SE after being outed.

My house (remote monitored by me in real time) recorded a steady winds out of the SE at 52 knots, and a peak gust of 62 knots.
The only marina in a easterly "wind shadowed" area with this latest cyclone event was Skyline Marina on the west side of Faldago Island:
