I'm ROFL: Rubin and Merrill Lynch want to get the Japanese to securitize real estate and start 401K stock savings programs to get their cash moving. Most Japanese lost fortunes in the fall of the Nikkei and collapse of real estate prices -- MER won't see most of that money in our lifetimes. A whole generation terrified of the stock market. I wonder if this is a glimpse of what the U.S. will look like ten years from now. Next thing they'll try to export bankruptcy attorneys to Japan to improve our trade relationship -ggg- Check out the Schwab international index fund SWINX..I love how the bubble moves but doesn't go away. Buy your German stocks now.....guess we know why the DAX has been making new highs...money moving out of U.S.
