Donald Trump was so personally unpopular and yet he won this election and carried all the battleground States. Dems have no idea what this means moving forward for the Republican/Conservative Party. There are numerous up and coming young stars in the Republican Party who have a kind and gentle come off like Senator Tom Cotton who embraces almost all of Trump's populist positions. Candidates like Cotton will not carry the personal baggage that Trump did and will be able to win 55%-60% of the popular vote. The Dems do not get or realize this.

A new era in American politics has emerged.
