I know it's a little premature, but it is really starting to look like a La Nina winter to come here in BC, cool and wet. Some snow packs in the province are already exceeding last year;s maximum level, so we are really hoping the snow lasts through the winter and breaks the droughts plaguing parts of the province, primarily in the SW and NE corners of BC.

And of course BC ski hill operators are ecstatic after last year's very difficult conditions.

As the next system approaches the BC coast, we still have more than 10k homes without power from the bomb cyclone earlier this week.
