Hi Graham,
I decided to call Jack Dimarche (the Pres.) today, and had a very good conversation. I wanted to share with the group some of his comments so we know what to expect in the future.
First of all, Jack is a geologist and he seems to take pride in the concessions they've gained in Suriname. He explained how the greenstone belt in Suriname (South America) is the same as the one in Ghana, West Africa. This is because at one time the continents were connected (I know, geology 101). In any event, there have been important gold discoveries (mines) in Ghana which have ranged from 3 million to 20 million opt AU. He feels that's its only a matter of time that its proven Suriname has the same possibilties. Golden Star's Gross Rosabel project is just the start.
He mentioned how they have been spending about $1 millon per year in exploration. He kept on stressing the importance of good science. He was not at all into any type of market hype, of which I am very respectful of. A scientist running an exploration company is very important. Just the facts, non of the hype.
He also said, don't expect any "quick doubles" from the stock in the near term. This is the mentality that unfortunately a lot of us have gotten into. Unless our positions double or triple, we get upset. However he did assure me that the property's hold extremely high potential.
He felt confident that we would see the assay's on Tuesday. Most of us are expecting them to be good, but remember its just the start. He said that they are planning more drilling on Dijon (good sign), but because they are going through the dry season its hard to move the equipment. I guess they just moved their drill to another property (to drill Olimari while waiting for Dijon assays). Because the rivers water level goes way down, its more difficult to transport equipment. We'll have to wait and see what happens.
I asked him which property out of all did he think held the most potential. He said that all of them were very promising. Only at this point, Dijon has had the most exploration. He mentioned how the Lawa property had the same exact geology as Golden Star's Dachine diamond find, therefore the same possibility. The fact that diamonds have been found in stream samples makes this even more obvious.
All in all, I felt very comfortable with his knowledge and the answers to my questions. There's more to tell, but maybe I'll save for a later post.
Here's my advice to any BLO investor or potential investor. Out of all the property's I have reviewed (I'm not a geologist or financial advisor, just love reading, learning and asking questions), BLO has the most potential and largest land holdings with good prospects, I have ever come across. If you buy BLO, buy on dips (like we've seen this week), and keep it in your pocket. This is one where you'll look back and see tremendous profits after a time. You can't go wrong.
Just think about this... If they can find a 3 million ounce deposit (almost certain to happen, but when?), their share price could easily reach $15. If you invested $5,000 today at .29 cents (assuming share structure stays the same), you would end up with $260,000. My goal here isn't to appeal to your greed, but to show you the promise that a small grass roots exploration company with good geology can deliver.
You have to be patient though. Ain't no overnight doubles here. But 6 months or a year from now? No way Wall Street is going to beat this potential!
