OT, but not really. I need to rebalance my portfolio to cope with what I beieve to be an upcoming recession, with or without any DGA and IRA challenges from the new administration or an increasing risk of military conflict involving NATO.

So that almost certainly means adjusting my REFR holdings.

To the best of my understanding, and with a tremendously diminished faith in our system of checks and balances, I can't square the idea of deporting the millions of illegal immigrants who harvest our produce crops with also slapping a 25 percent tariff on the huge amounts of fresh produce we import from Mexico and Canada.

That combination spells severe inflation in the price of fresh produce for a vegetarian like me, and doesn't begin to address what will happen in other tariff-sensitive areas that I haven't begun to explore.

I'm still pinning my RFI hopes on the Neue Kalsse, but if we don't get the anticipated two OEM announcements by year's end, I won't wait for Jan. 20 to make my anti-recessionary moves.

That said, and with no intentional touch of irony, happy Thanksgiving to all!
