OZON-Related News: Bass Plc buying Inter-Continental The Inter-Continental chain, with 187 hotels and 65,000 rooms world-wide, had an operating profit of $144 million in the year ended December 1997, Bass said. Bass' hotel division, Holiday Hospitality, has the brand names Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Crowne Plaza and Staybridge Suites by Holiday Inn. The division operates or franchises 2,400 hotels and 390,000 guest rooms world-wide.
