I actually heard that same story a few days ago. A local DJ read it on the radio on Valentine's Day. I told it to my wife, not usually a romantic sort, later that day. It put her in a good mood the rest of the evening and...well, the rest is none of your business.

At any rate, that story has been warming my heart for days.

Now my other post-Valentine's contribution (I know it was a week ago but I'm romantic all year round). I memorized this years ago, but forgot the name of the author. Perhaps someone can accredit it?
