The first thing these neocons and their brain-dead followers need to grasp is that the Soviet Union no longer exists. Putin has openly renounced communism and has blamed it for nearly destroying Russian society.
Russia is NOT a communist country. Putin is NOT a communist. But just today I heard a TV host who should know better say he believed Putin was a radical communist.
IMO one of the greatest needs in our country is education. Americans know only what the neocons tell them about Russia and all of the situations involving Russia.
How many Americans know why Russia invaded Ukraine? Too few I am afraid.
How many Americans know there is no Leningrad in today's Russia?
The name was changed back to St. Petersburg by a vote of the people in 1991, the same time as the rejection of communism and the ending of the Soviet Union.
Everyone talks about Russia but no one seems to know anything about it.
All the neocons tell Americans is "Russia bad" and "China Bad". That's enough for most Americans.
This interview will open eyes but most Americans believe ignorance is bliss.
The truth is out there and we all have free access to it. It just takes a little bit of your time to find it.
Take a couple of hours and educate yourself.
