Talks happened in 2018 and continued until early 2019 before they were suspended.
Everything returned back to the status quo.
All that happened a year before the pandemic hit.

You are a pessimistic fool to think 70 years of mistrust can be undone in two years, if he would have had a normal eight year term without covid - much more could have been accomplished.

Biden didn't even try - so the bar is pretty damn low.

Now he's handed two wars to wind down and a middle east (Saudi Arabia) to get on board with the Abraham's Accord. NK may get some attention, but it's always been a long shot effort that'll take years to resolve.
