Eric, the point I'm making is that Trump couldn't charm Kim Jong-Un into doing anything. All I hear are excuses for Trump's failure. "Oh, it's because of COVID." "Oh, it's because 70 years of mistrust can't be undone in two years," despite the fact that Bill Clinton and Kim Dae-Jung somehow did it. This is going to be the pattern for Trump's foreign policy during his second term.
