BofA Securities highlighted their lists of “bunkers” and “boosters” U.S. stocks.

“Boosters” tend to perform well in an economic upturn, while “bunkers” tend to perform well during a downturn, wrote Nigel Tupper, chief global quantitative strategist at BofA, in a note.

These are stocks from the MSCI USA Index (BATS: PBUS) with a market cap greater than $2B and an average daily turnover in the last six months greater than $1M.

Bunker stocks in the U.S. have the most exposure to dividend stocks, with an average quintessential style rank of 67, followed by quality, ranking at 61 – a ranking of 1 is the worst, and a ranking of 100 is the best.
