The New Jersey drought to continue through 2024. Although we were able to pick up over an inch of rain during the past couple weeks,a new pattern has now set up for the state Cold and very dry air will be set to arrive this weekend for a prolonged period. We are 8 inches below average for the year. We're going to need a wet and or snowy start to the new year. droughtmonitor.unl.edu
