Jeff,

Results of the test of the downhole zones due out next week and we spud
the Cannacabare on or about 3/1!

I really like the way these HEC guys operate (industry pun intended!).
As I've already laid out earlier time was running against them in their
quest to both: 1) do an exhaustive suite of tests on the 5 or so pay
zones they found in the Estero #3, but also, 2) get the damn Cannacabare
well spudded so they wouldn't have it get stuck up there when the rains
start in April.

Turns out there was a Lasmo service rig just hangin' around collecting
dust. So HEC is gonna use that baby to test the zones uphole of the
Ubaque. This frees up HEC's drilling rig so it can get dismantled and
moved over to the Antejeos, in order to be ready to spud next week or
so. Is this cool or what? I admire their resourcefulness.

So within a few days we find out whether the Paleozoic is productive and
we find the production rates of the Ubaque in the Estero #3. And the
Ubaque is gonna be big here, believe me. I forgot whether I've mentioned
this or not, but soon after they started drilling ahead after putting
out the latest news release they found TONS more pay in the Ubaque! They
had thought the 12 ft. of pay that they found initially was the only
productive zone there, but now it turns out that that was just a sliver
of oil that had migrated up a little higher than the mother lode further
down.

Is it better to be lucky than smart or what?! The only reason they
decided to drill further was to go for the Paleozoic zone further down!

Please folks, for my sake and yours, DO NOT go calling representatives
of each of the companies involved in this play asking for confirmation
of this info. Just accept it for now and do what you want with it. These
guys can't stand being put on the spot and the HEC folks in particular
are gonna be real pissed at this. They keep blaming the ROH/PKC camps
for leaking this stuff but little do they know that much of this info
has been gleaned from folks not involved with either organization!

Why do I like to get myself in trouble? I just feel I owe it to all my
fellow cyberbuddies here to give you a little heads-up. This is what the
internet is all about IMO. Based on recent trading activity for this
turkey, it looks like all have given up on it. Its time we started
banging the drums on this and started letting folks know what's really
going on.

I had thought about selling into this recent downdraft but fortunately held off.
