How is the war going? Well, not well for Zelensky. IF there is ever another Presidential election in Ukraine he will be out. Only 16% would vote for him. 60% do not even want him to run again.
He now has asked for a NATO umbrella to cover the land Ukraine now controls and he will cede the land now held by Russia to Russia. He says that once this is done he will try by "Diplomatic means" to regain the land ceded to Russia.
I say "what? That makes little sense. What are Diplomatic means and why would Russia give back the area they hold that is populated by Russian people.
The bottom line is that Zelensky is running out of men, weapons, and the support of his country. He is taking a drubbing on the battlefield. He is scared Trump will make peace with Russia by denying NATO to Ukraine and ceding the land held by Russia to Russia. The war that was provoked and promoted by Western neocons who wanted NATO missile bases on Russia's border has taken the lives of 1.1 million Ukrainians and some 100,000 Russians. Like most wars provoked and promoted by Western neocons around the world it was avoidable and, in the end, a terrible waste of the lives of people who never wanted war. It is a board game to the neocons and human life means nothing.
