Just seen the news that Pat Gelsinger has retired as CEO of INTC.
I was quite optimistic in recent months but I think the INTC story has to be over now.
Stock is up a little in the pre-market.

Tech is the most ruthless industry imo, but it's also the most exciting, which allows for speculative fever to run for a long time without any consequences. In the end, though, these tech companies that have fallen behind will face a Kodak/Xerox ending and I'm getting the feeling Intel will be the next big name to fall off. (At the same time, I'm also not convinced by most of these AI winners. FWIW, I suspect the biggest AI winners are not even publicly traded yet.)
