I agree with just about all of your "random thoughts" except this one (although that would depend upon how we define "soon"):

The current percent is around 35%. That's somewhat artificially deflated due to the Q4 retail sales. I'm expecting to see 45% in Q1, 50% in Q2, and 50-55% for the rest of the year. I don't expect to see 60-70% until 1999. The current ad campaign is aimed more at retail and disk usage than it is at Zip built-in. OEM Zip sales will likely soar, but Retail Zip sales will be hot on their tails.

Just my estimates and opinions.
