I find it quite hilarious, yet utterly predictable, that the Trump supporters on this thread are barking loudly at the news of Brandon Jr.'s pardon.
Because the way Brandon worded the news release, he did it in a way that gave a big gigantic middle finger to everyone who supported Trump. (And maybe also to the Dems who either jumped parties this year or chose to sit this one out.)

Nepotism? Fine by me
First of all, Brandon himself said it. He gave the pardon because Junior is his son.
Of course, he framed it in a way that made his son look like the victim, both of a bloodthirsty MAGA crowd who vowed "revenge" on Trump's political opponents, and of Brandon's own position as president.
Never mind the fact that Junior put himself into this predicament.
Never mind the fact that Junior blatantly tried to profit off of his daddy's power.
Now he's a "victim"? Give me a break, Junior tried to take full advantage of his family ties, and now he's once again taking full advantage of said ties by receiving a pardon.
But should that matter to MAGA? Of course not. Trump would have done the exact same thing.

How about them "politically-motivated wItCh hUnTs," huh? Because Brandon also called them out as well. (He didn't use the phrase "wItCh hUnTs," but it's pretty obvious by the tone of his statement that he meant it.)
Sound familiar? It should to anyone who paid attention to Trump's endless social media outbursts.
The Mother of All Whataboutisms
At the end of it all, this is what Brandon has to say about a convicted felon, confirmed sex offender, and perhaps the most corrupt politician ever to win a presidential election.
"Fuck it.
"My legacy is gone, democracy has turned into a joke, and Trump himself is nominating literal felons that he pardoned out of nepotism to high positions.
"Let me do this one thing for my coke-addled son before I pass away.
"After all, what's the worst that could happen to me or to the country?"
The Most "Dark Brandon" Thing Ever
If you think about it, this is the most "Dark Brandon" thing that Brandon has ever done.
This is perhaps the mother of all trolls. The best way to "own" MAGA. Given how much MAGA has justified Trump's own corrupt character with whataboutisms, "Dark Brandon" decided to one-up them with the absolute Mother of All Whataboutisms.
And there is absolutely nothing that MAGA can do about it.
And if some on the left feel betrayed by Brandon, especially given his original promise not to pardon Junior, so what? It's a different world now, and Brandon might as well gain something out of this shitshow.
