I'll list some of my losing oil stocks. Maybe they'll be of possible interest now to somebody else, given the prices have come down from my purchase points.

EQNR. Norwegian explores gas for Europe. Dividend.

CORD. Dividend. Share repurchase. Oil/gas Williston Basin (N.Dakota/Montana/Canada)

Cenovus(CVE) and diversified Canadaian Natural (CNQ). I like the heavy oil prospects (no explor. expense and long-lived reserves. Dividends, buybacks. Full position for me here.

Obsidean (OBE). Western Canandian explorer

Kosmos Enegy (KOS). "...assets include oil production and exploration in proven basins offshore Ghana, Equatorial Guinea and the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, as well as a world-class gas development offshore Mauritania and Senegal." Senegal prospects.

I can list more where I'm in red but will be holding on: APA, BTE, DK, PBF, et al., as well as those I'm in the green with. What's maybe significant is if the expectation that oil prices will hold or rise, and if a person doesn't have a good knowledge of the businesses (oil/gas), then just holding a package of these stocks will be good enough.
