Works in a pinch or for speed but it depends which file format it gets saved in and the resolution of the screen.

JPEG and GIF are lossy file formats and will get pixelated and lose definition over time as they get resized, resaved and emailed around. Many of the common memes and animated graphics from the OS platform wars from 30 years ago can be hard to find now, if you can find 'em at all.
