I am a fan of Plato's Allegory of the Cave!

i am pretty good with history though as I have studied it, as it tells us a lot about the human species.

And it tells me is that civilization has been built by science, and education of science is the most important ingredient for a civilized humanitarian society, as it requires abstract thought which we are NOT born knowing how to do, and have to acquire it through study.

And this is also why Trump's plan to get rid of the Department of Education is sacrilegious in humanitarian terms!
