An update + a new ICC stock:
For any ICC'ers out there, Mark & Co. have made an interesting addition to their clientele list. IGN Internet Global Network, Inc. (IGN-VSE) - an Internet Gaming Stock. If interested, I started an SI thread on IGN in the Miscellaneous - Casinos/Gaming section. Soon to be on NASDAQ, Mark has lofty expectations. Check out the web sites listed on the IGN thread, give Mark a call. I bought some IGN, my sole source of DD was the fact that ICC is representing them.
HARD: After a (deserved) ear-chewing from Dan Dowe yesterday, I can at least say that shareholders can look for another letter sometime in March. This should serve 2 purposes: 1) Review of the 60-Day Plan per last letter in Dec. 97 2) Preview of 1998 Plan
After hearing several times from former President Roy MacMillan how great things were going, then witnessing quarter after quarter of $0 revenues, to say I was skeptical (and sick at my stomach) would be a slight understatement.
So over the months, I've called Diane (HARD's GM) just to see if she answered the phone. (Some more fantastic DD by DW - I figure if Diane is still answering the phone, they're at least trying to make a go of it - plus the fact that she's a very pleasant lady.) I've also spoken to Doug Friedenberg a few times.
The best I can tell - 60-Day Plan was successful. 1998 Plan will be exciting/impressive. Production equipment is now on-site, being assembled. Full production to begin March 1.
The ear-chewing was in defense of Diane. Seems as though I'm not the only shareholder calling. Sounds like Diane is getting real busy and doesn't need to be spending so much time talking to investors/ curiousity-seekers. Plus, she can't tell us anything. I take this as a positive.
Anyway, I don't know anything else, other than I'm holding and even bought a little more last week. Sounds like it may be 2-3 weeks before letter to shareholders is out. S/H meeting is planned between end of March and mid-April.
As for a dummy who would invest in: a) an Internet gaming company, solely on the basis of their IR firm, and b) a company with $0 revenue, on its 3rd set of management . . . you can call me crazy all you want, but my therapist says I'm progressing quite nicely, thank you.
Good luck to all, David |
