I listened to the USB Global Technology and AI fireside chat with Chris Diorio (CEO) and Carey Baker (CFO)

They are still very excited about these verticals and the total potential of RAIN RFID:
Apparel up to 80B items annually - currently 30-35% penetrated (most logos doing something)
General Merchandise up to 325B items per year - low single digit penetration
Logistics up to 400B items per year - very low single digit penetration

Chris also discussed pharmacy, medical, and other opportunities. He is very passionate about the growth potential and the ability to continue to innovate (that part was interesting). He also discussed food and that it was starting...but they did not act as if it would move the needle or give any specifics. Good discussion of how the tech has advanced and will continue to do so.

One point of concern was the discussion on 2025 (last 2-3 minutes); no really large companies are initiating RAIN in 2025, but they expect multiple smaller new clients and broad growth, explicitly calling out the North American Retailer (WalMart) and the # 2 logistics company (UPS?) continuing to roll out their mandate and adoptions respectively. They expressed concern that we need to learn how tariffs will impact the industries they work in, specifically their use or adoption of RAIN.
