CR,
Maybe Jason is related to the Andy (the CEO of NINE, not me <g>).

Jason,
STB is strong because it is a well managed company and has established relationship with both DELL and Gateway2000 or the best 2 mail order company which the two alone captures more than 10% worldwide PC market (that's almost 10M units) In addition, like ATI (ATY.to), it successfully anticipated and adjusted its product line to the market need. The majority of the market need a good 2D, very good 3D, mpeg playback and the PC2TV is welcome feature, plus a low cost TV Tuner and possibly a DVD solution. It is interesting to point out that ATY.to has experienced a similar situation two to three years ago when its Mach64 design is aged and fully replaced by S3's 968. At that time, it was traded as low as $9! Then the CEO is replaced, the company is restuctured and we have a successful company in a little more than 1 year. Now ATI is found in some Compaq, GW2k and it is one of the best selling card in retail.

PS: remember I removed ATI from my favorite list few weeks ago when it was in low 40s and now ATI is trading at mid 40s! I believe it will remain the best in the rest of FY98. The future prospect is very depend on the Intel strategy and how antitrust investigation by FTC.
