Bill,

Take a look at LSI Logic at their FYE 12/93 relative to that company's financial condition and stock range during 1993 compared to VLSI today. The two companies obviously are different but do operate in similar target markets, with VLSI significantly more weighted in the PC chipset business. LSI made a concerted effort to get out of the commodity chipset business in the early 1990s much as VLSI seems to be positioning itself to do now. The stock price of LSI since 1993 demonstrates a remarkable return over the past three years which hopefully VLSI has the potential of offering over the next three years. Good luck and watch those gross margins.
