Eagle,

<<do we have competition for 114 either on the market or in development?>>

The on-the-market competition for MGI-114 is every therapy (e.g. the drug Taxol), or combination of therapies, that is presently used to treat solid tumors. There is plenty of competition out there but Taxol is the biggest at over $900 million in annual sales. I do not have the science background to understand how they work. My understanding is, in simplistic terms, that the patient is given a type of poison that hopefully poisons the tumors more quickly than the other vital tissues in the body. The hope for the investor in MGI-114 is that it will be more effective in that objective than other poisons out there.

As far as what is under development, there is also plenty of competition. You could spend hours, maybe days, on the Internet reviewing sights of clinical trials of cancer drugs. Here is one place to start:

graylab.ac.uk

Those who are involved in the MGI-114 trials say that it is the best cancer therapy currently under development. Sure, expect them to be biased, but it is exciting that MGI-114 is at least arguably the best thing in clinical trials.

BTW, I leave early tomorrow morning for a trade show and will be out of the loop until Wednesday.

Let's shrink some tumors!

David
