Trump is failing. He didn’t do the work on his Cabinet picks bc he can’t think. He’s old, lazy, demented and can’t handle detail. So he winged it.

Trump wanted and won't get:

1 The Senate to recess to avoid confirmation hearings.

2 No FBI background checks.

3 Senate Rs to vote for anyone he nominates.

4 Multiple unqualified loyalists in key positions.

Four of his noms have crashed- DEA head, White House Counsel, Attorney General, Secretary of Defense. More to come. Major Cabinet nominations backfiring proves Trump is incompetent. So does his screwing up his calls with Russia, Mexico and Canada. He’s already losing influence. Senate Rs know he’s a figurehead. When he goes below 40% approval, everyone will pile on.
