To be fair about it, they knew what the timeline was. They had years to put this stuff out there, yet, they waited until election season began. They did that because the objective was never legal in nature. They simply wanted to take him down.
They threw every single thing they had at him. And it all went belly up.
I know many Dems are satisfied that they had nothing against him. But this is the law. Dems had a couple of temporary wins with the Tish James and EJC cases. But at the end of the day, neither of those cases could stand up to scrutiny and they won't.
Of course, they knew that which is why they waited until the last minute. If they had allowed time for an appeals process that would guarantee the public would know they shams.
Let me ask one thing, though:
Have you ever in your life heard of a statute of limitations on rape or any crime, being cancelled for exactly one year. A year, during which, she just happened to not "remember" when this event allegedly took place, a period when a woman who had a made-up story (based on a 2011 episode of Law & Order) about her being raped on the 7th floor of a store, while not one soul was on the floor (leaving the cash registers unguarded???) -- oh, and the alleged perpetrator was a president who happened to running for re-election?
