Syria serves as an important strategic hub for RuZZia. It's the home of RuZZia's only naval base in the Mediterranean. They have a few air bases there.

Those Russian bases are living on borrowed time now.

There is no need to keep them there for the Syrians.

A huge liability.

And now no land bridge either for the Russians.
