Augustus,
The overwhelming concern is that Putin decides to hold the US accountable for giving Ukraine the ability to strike deep within Russian borders
He ALREADY holds the US accountable for "forcing RuZZia into war in the first place."

He has ALREADY escalated the war many times over, especially with the way he's bringing in North Korean troops without officially announcing it. (They're being disguised as Russians from the eastern Siberian region of Buryatia.)

So for him to accuse the U.S. of unilaterally escalating the war is a complete and utter lie.

Doesn't matter, though. The ATACMS strikes on RuZZian soil are having an effect. RuZZian gains on the eastern front have slowed, while RuZZian gains on their own home soil of Kursk are non-existent despite wave after wave of attacks.

The trick right now is to convince PooTin to come to the negotiation table. But he never will if he believes he is winning. Trump has to convince him otherwise.
