Recent TV show catch-up post:

"Dalgliesh" (Acorn) has a new series with 3 two-parters total, one set each week. Solid traditional mystery fare.

"Elementary" from CBS (now APV) has been a pleasurable re-watch. Witty writing and solid acting. Holds up well.

"The Sticky" on APV is a fun Fargo-style romp about maple syrup heists. Very slapstsicky, as my wife put it.

"The Dry" on Acorn has the lead actress from "The Lovers" and looks like a solid comedy entry after one episode.

"Sons of Liberty" from History Channel (now APV) is an entertaining and mostly accurate 3-part dramatization of Samuel Adams and the other Bostonians who lead the way to Revolution.

Ken Burns' "DaVinci" documentary on PBS is up to usual Ken Burns standards. We are watching it a bit at a time to savor the details of what DaVinci did.

Started "Black Doves" on Netflix, a spy story about some rival assassins that's a bit over the top but worth a second look.
