Despite my absolutist beliefs with regard to tariffs, I wouldn't mind IF Trump had a clear, coherent strategy behind his tariff threats. Unfortunately for us, he doesn't. Because thus far, he has tied tariffs to the following: - The war on fentanyl. - The flow of "undocumented" migrants to our borders. - BRICS trying to pursue their own currency. All of these are incredibly complicated issues, yet he wants to tackle them by wielding tools that will harm us much more than the rest of the world. And that's what has me worried, because Trump erroneously believes that we don't pay tariffs. Only the other countries do. He's completely reckless, and the only hope I have is that the erratic Trump will one day jump to his senses. Tenchusatsu
