Quite the storm hit southern BC, as has become the norm these days coming in stronger than forecast. Fortunately there wasn't a lot of rain, but winds in the urban area reached over 100 kph. At the peak there were more than 300k without power, all the ferries were cancelled, and the highway north from Vancouver into the mountains was closed by a landslide that took out a home and killed two. In addition, king tides and storm surge combined to create coastal flooding.

Back into regular fal lwind and rain today, cool enough that snow is falling in the mountains.
