Yeah - I wish they had shipped 5 Million "Q" phones prior to December!

I think the 1997 shipments of Q phones was probably around 200,000 - 300,000 units. I have a pre-December Q phone and have heard nothing, and have had no problem. I asked a question about quality issues at the display at the shareholders meeting, and the gentleman was unaware of any quality issues with the "Q" phone, except maybe the first couple of lots built which had to have their cases changed and hinge springs tightened.

I suspect the rumor on the Motley board stems from that old issue.
