i went out in 1995 bought a dell computer and took my lump sum retirement amount and invested on line through Jack White, a discount broker in Kansas City spent it all then attended my retirement dinner. Jack white eventually became ameritrade until last year. there must have been about three or four other consolidations before ameritrade.
