Crypto is signalling "everyone is going to be winner". There are wealth generators and wealth owners, there is not enough wealth to be shared in an equitable way. Anyone who has managed a social group knows what human beings are really like. We have a nice side and a side that is not very considerate. So the signal is incorrect, not everyone will be a winner. The possibilities are another crypto blow off top, or a currency fault of some kind. The Stock Market will probably lead the charge in whatever direction we are going in.
