Its always a possibility but like you said I hope it holds off until i'm dead. Radiation poisoning is a very painful way to die. Yeah,the earthquakes and Volcanos all are aftershocks of the great Earth massive convulsion some 12k years ago. I hope you watched that video that I sent you as it makes this crystal clear about what happend and caused Noah's Worldwide flood.
