related? dunno.... he was a depression kid...they had one 22 bullet to go out and shoot a rabbit for food..
he was so tight, he squeaked when he walked...he could squeeze a penny so tight, it was so thin, it was transparent...lol...

his lucky break, was during ww2 as an enlisted man with no college education at that time, he got to be a pilot in the navy...they called them Silver Eagles.

all in all, his frugality paid off handsomely.
