Rock, What you indicate is that Bob's model is a full economic simulation of the U.S. economy. I have never heard him speak of this. If it is so then I am truly impressed indeed since this is an extremely complex simulation. However, while I don't want to take away anything from Bob's impressive abilities, I don't believe him to be a mathematician or even an analytical economist. Even if he was he would also need to be expert at computer numerical analysis to carry off such a task. I suspect that his model is not such an economic simulation but that he simply tracks some "special" indicators and derives an empirical relationship between them. To do otherwise implies that he has a team of specialists working on this model. Do you know, in fact, that this is the case? Regards
