It confirms what I suspected after a little extra thought .. (Posted earlier today in BOLD below) and would be good thing.. I have long thought (Just one example) that this turning every bill into an omnibus bill was a weakness of the US system.. apparently Trump, Musk and I agree on that.

Then I thought maybe I'm overthinking.. congress always seems to have trouble passing a bill without it starting to look like an omnibus bill.. opposite of our parliament with a majority.. This might be a ploy to stop that habit if they really want to reduce spending..

Edit: apparently 38 House Republicans helped kill it.. SO Musk should assign blame appropriately ..pork barreling is hard to kill.. it's endemic
