Correct me if I'm wrong, 'cause I'm no arb., but doesnt short stock+ short puts= naked short calls? A call plus short stock is a synthetic put, so a put plus stock is a synthetic call. short 'em both and you get a synthetic short calls.

not that i'm necessarily against shorting calls on AOL :), it's just good to know what you are REALLY doing, in some sense.
