The Fed wouldn't do something so abrupt.

It just send the message: There will be less rate cuts next year.

Trump has been trying to move the market, his allies and enemies, internally and externally, with his jaw.
Let's see what he will actually do next year.

Interesting that Trump started up bullying the Europeans more than the Chinese:
  • Telling import oil or you will get tariffs
  • Asking NATO for 5% defense spending

A friend sent me:
Trump policies are stagflationary and everyone who studied the business cycle know that.
Get ready for an inflationary bust in 2025
