As a matter of fact, I get most of my news from Poland, German, French, and other European PBS stations, as well as other news sources in the area.

Is their health care behind, retirement, prisons, death penalty?

I know they struggle with the far right and immigration issues like we do, but the level of their intellectual sophistication seems ahead of us.

In general they seem more sophisticated.

The Baltic/Nordic countries impress me the most with their universal health care, affordable education and humanitarian prisons.
