I bought the "Option For Beginners (not for dummies!)" book by Don Fishback about 2-3 months ago. The first thing I have to say about the book is that it is very easily read and basically teaches you the basics about option trading. The big secret is the 8-page supplement called "How To Win 87.5% Of Your Trades Or Better Guaranteed". based on past history the OEX doesn't move +/- 5% during a month 87.5% of the time. Based on this knowledge you could do a PUT and a CALL credit spread, thus generating instant cash, but must wait until expiration to be guaranteed the WIN. My problem is that with E-Trade you must have level-3 option trading to do spreads which I don't have.
