In Hawaii, hitting a pedestrian is considered a sport. We have so many Karens who fled Calif living here it's nuts. They walk with their back to traffic and get hit all the time. On their phones, ear buds in, just stupid. The HI law actually states if you walk facing away from traffic then you're at fault.
