Just heard on Scott Adams that panama canal is charging as much as 450k for some ships. One would hope there was some agreement on reasonable rates when Carter gave it to panama. Apparently not. So how do you fix it now? Take it back? Or just agree on some price caps? Maybe this is how to get to the latter. Also it is apparently contracted to Chinese engineers to maintain and run. How much influence do they have? Another problem...
