Linda, sorry to take so long to reply

Been out of town. Anyway, in your last post to me you wrote:

<<<I think there has to be high, low and medium doses of Vasomax. Wessels, Arnold & Henderson is supposed to have a good rep and it would not provide any advantage to them to create a report of this kind that isn't accurate, for they are accountable to their clients, after all and the investment community as a whole.>>>

I don't know this firm but they got this WRONG. There were several different doses of vasomax tried during Phase I & II clinical testing but the ONLY recommended dose is 40mg. There was some testing of 80mg in phase III but that was just to cover the instances where the patient might take two pills, possibly thinking two are better than one - you know - its a guy thing. To my knowledge, Zonagen has NEVER suggested a "low, medium & high dose" for vasomax.

Also, as far as I know, the side effects reported by WA&H were not encountered in any vasomax trials, at any dose.

The only trial still going on is an open label extension of the phase III trial. In this, the patients are freely allowed to take the active medication as long as they want - I would assume that they would do so until the drug quit working - so it could mean that it's working for 50% of those enrolled in the trial.

In any event, this report provided sparse words at best - IMHO the only people who will worry about this are those predisposed to do so. It certainly provides "ammunition" for some, like Wexler, where this is actually more "proof than he has provided to date for any of his rants. At this point I'm happy to wait for the NDA to be filed.

Also, I don't think the conference in Houston last week was held by WA&H - but I could be wrong.
