Hmmmm is right. Maybe ByteDance doesn’t care how much it’s paid for TikTok USA as long as it retains (some / most?) content control?

What are their options? Get banned or cut a deal with Trump who will never pay for the ownership stake but will get the benefit of TikTok’s vast audience as will the Chinese government.

PS: I doubt Musk will like the deal but trying to stop it will only undermine his "free speech" stance.
