A couple of weeks ago, weather.com was predicting a colder than normal winter for the West and above average temps for the East. Now they've flipped their prediction..

Sometimes I think that the Farmer's Almanac or Tarot cards and a Ouija board might make better and more accurate long range forecasting tools.

So far here in western Washington this Fall and early Winter, it's been mild temps and rain, rain, rain, pretty much non stop. Gets old after a while.

Brings to mind the old weather joke here..

Q: How do you predict the weather in Seattle?

A: If you can't see Mt Rainier, it's raining. If you can see the mountain, it's going to rain..
