It's a strange thing how most brains work. Even in the face of death-dealing countervailing evidence, many people, even most, would rather die than admit they were wrong. Especially if the deaths are other people and they receive money for being wrong.

Stockholm syndrome will get people to die for the cause. Even just the need to belong, have identity, will get people to die. Heavens Gate, Jim Jones, USA soldiers invading Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Ukraine. Amusingly, they say Russia was bad for invading Ukraine after the. USA had already conquered it and had started loading weapons into Ukraine ready to attack Russia.

People even make their children get the COVID vaxx. Police and a judge forced a child to get spike protein blood transfusion. Volunteers offered pureblood but that was disallowed. The child was forced to receive the holy sacrament.
